IME-USP hosts the conference Interfaces between Quantum and Classical Statistical Mechanics

Between the 24th and 28th of July 2023, starting at 8 am, the conference Interfaces between Quantum and Classical Statistical Mechanics will take place at the Jacy Monteiro Auditorium at IME-USP, with the aim of disseminating innovative results that research carried out by IME students and professors have obtained recently. This will be a great opportunity to establish new international cooperation and strengthen existing ones.

The event schedule also includes a poster session and interdisciplinary lectures on mathematical topics related to quantum and classical aspects of theory: Gibbs measurements, KMS states, Phase Transitions, C*-algebras, Groupoids, and much more. With the presence of pure and applied mathematicians, probabilists, and physicists, participants will have the opportunity to interact with researchers from around the world.
