Post-Doctoral Program

The Post-Doctoral Program is developed under the responsibility of a PhD professor accredited as a supervisor of the IME-USP Graduate Program, according to the regulations of the University of São Paulo. Post-doctoral researchers are expected to participate in research in the Departments of Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Applied Mathematics. The results of the studies are presented in seminars, congresses, books and mainly in scientific journals.

The candidate to the Program must hold a PhD degree from any institution, national or foreign, and the registration must be requested by the advisor to the Research Committee. According to the type of project, specific documentation must be presented (with research fellowship; without research fellowship; linked to a company).

We strongly recommend reading the Resolution before submitting your application to the Program.

The completed forms and all documentation should be sent attached in a single message to the email of the Research Commission cpq@ime.usp.br with the subject: Post-Doctoral Application
