Deadlines
EBEB 2014 will only accept submissions of full papers (format and page limits are detailed in submission). There are two paper submission tracks for EBEB (normal and early tracks), even though accepted full papers appear in the proceedings regardless of their track. The presentation of accepted papers during the meeting is precondition for their publication in the proceedings.

Normal Submission Track:
January 10, 2014*   Abstract Submission.
January 25, 2014*   Abstract Decision Notification (full paper mandatory in case of acceptance).
January 31, 2014*   Early Registration.
February 21, 2014*   Full Paper Submission (mandatory in case of accepted abstract).
May 05, 2014*   Decision Notification (for the proceedings).
July 01, 2014   Final camera-ready version.
* Deadline extended

Early Submission Track:
December 20, 2013   Early Full Paper Submission.
January 10, 2014   Early Decision Notification (for the proceedings).
July 01, 2014   Final camera-ready version.

Early submission is intended only to those in need of the decision notification early due to grant/funding arrangements to attend the meeting from abroad. In spite of that, anybody may submit their full papers using the normal track if they prefer.

Submission
EBEB 2014 invites submissions of papers on all topics related to Bayesian Statistics. We welcome submissions by authors who are new to EBEB and on new and emerging topics – examples of topics and papers published at past EBEB meetings can be found at http://proceedings.aip.org/resource/2/apcpcs/1490/1

Submission of papers and presentations during the event must be in English.

Full papers accepted to the proceedings will be published in a book from the series "Springer Proceedings in Mathematics & Statistics" (http://www.springer.com/series/10533). Submissions should be formatted accordingly. Full papers (including figures and text) are limited to 10 pages in length. See more details below.

  • Submission tracks:

There are two paper submission tracks for EBEB, even though accepted full papers appear in the proceedings regardless of their track. All accepted papers will be presented at the meeting either as contributed talks or as posters. The registration in the event of at least one author and the presentation of the work are preconditions for their publication in the proceedings. This will be strictly enforced.
  • Submission policy:

Papers that are currently under review or have already been accepted or published in a refereed venue, including conferences and journals, may not be submitted. Submitted papers will be reviewed based on their novelty, technical quality, potential impact, and clarity of writing. Authors are encouraged to make data and code publicly available when possible.
  • Formatting instructions:

Submissions should be formatted in the "Springer Proceedings in Mathematics & Statistics" format. The abstract (150 to 250 words) and full paper must be prepared using template available at http://www.springer.com/cda/content/document/cda_downloaddocument/svmult.zip?SGWID=0-0-45-491899-0 and then submitted as a PDF file. Please do not make changes to the standard format. Papers (including figures and text) are limited to 10 pages in length. Abstracts submitted to the normal track must follow the formatting rules and must indicate who is the expected speaker of the (possible) paper's presentation.

The guidelines preparation of the paper are available at:
