About the meeting

Our intention is to bring together young researchers working at Brazil in the field of algebra and in related areas. The Workshop will be held in the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of Sao Paulo University on 24—25 of May, 2013. This meeting is aimed at PhD students and postdocs as well as at all the other young researches. We expect that our Workshop will be useful to all its participants in making new scientific contacts and interacting with the colleagues. Every participant will have the opportunity to present his work as a short talk or as a poster.

Plenary speaker — Ualbay Umirbayev (Weyne State University). His talk "Nagata's conjecture" will start at 9:30 on 24th of May.

The scientific programme will be based on the received applications. The number of sections and their subjects will depend on the amount of participants and their scientific interests.

We kindly ask you to share the information of this announcement with all PhD students, postdocs and colleagues that could be concerned in participation in our Workshop.
