About me

I am an assitant professor (professor doutor) at the department of Applied Mathematics of IME-USP (Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil). I am mainly interested in numerical analysis, numerical methods for fluid dynamics problems, parallel-in-time methods, domain decomposition methods and reduced-order modeling.

Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the same institute. My research project, supervised by Prof. Dr. Pedro Peixoto and funded by FAPESP (Sao Paulo Research Foundation), was focused on the parallel-in-time solve of atmospheric circulation models.

I received my PhD degree at INRIA - LEMON team / University of Montpellier (France) in October 2021. It was focused on the numerical coupling of urban floods models at different scales using parallel-in-time methods.
