XIX Brazilian School of Probability
August 3 - 8, 2015 Praia de Maresias, SP-Brazil

The Brazilian School of Probability (EBP) has been organized each year since 1997 by initiative of the Brazilian probabilistic community and planned as a forum for the discussion of new ideas and developments in Probability and related areas. Two short courses on Probabilistic models for the (sub)Tree(s) of Life by Amaury Lamber (Univ Paris 06, France) and Extrema of logarithmically correlated Gaussian fields and related processes by Ofer Zeitouni (Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel), besides more than ten plenary talks given by international specialists are confirmed. The school proceedings will be published in a special volume of Brazilian Journal of Probability and Statistics, an IMS supported journal. Registration is now open, and some support for PhD students and Post-Docs are available. See the webpage for registration and list of confirmed speakers.
