Statisticians'  newsletter  'The  Survey Statistician'   is now available at:

Besides our regular features of  country reports on activities related to
survey methodology, Table of Contents of related journals and announcements
for upcoming conferences, we also have three special articles in each issue
under:   'New and Emerging Methods', 'Ask the Expert 'and 'Book/Software Review'.
The current issue contains   articles by P. Daas and M. Puts on 'Big Data as a
Source of Statistical Information', a response to the question 'When should a
multiple frame survey be used?' by S. Lohr and a review of the Committee on
National Statistics Report on 'Nonresponse in Social Science Surveys: A
Research Agenda' by P. Lynn.
In previous issues of 'The Survey Statistician' , the 'New and Emerging

The 'Book/Software Review' section contained software review articles: 'Study
