Location

The symposium will be held at the  Portogalo Suíte Hotel  (not to be confused with the Portobello Hotel), where all participants will be lodged.  You may find references to the hotel in hotels-and-inns.com, travel.yahoo.com and travelmall.com.

The hotel is located in Angra dos Reis, a beach resort 140km (less than 3 hours drive) west of Rio de Janeiro.  You may find information about the town in angra-dos-reis.com and angraonline.com.

Participants from abroad

The citizens of some countries need a visa to enter Brazil.  (A tourist visa is sufficient in such cases.)  Please check with the nearest Brazilian Consulate or Embassy.  There are consulates in Miami, New York, Boston, Toronto, Frankfurt, Milan, and a number of other cities.
