Bayesian Immunity Against Nonidentifiability.
Sergio Wechsler (IME–USP).

Abstract:
The concept of nonidentifiability is discussed from a simple probability calculus example standpoint as opposed to usual sophisticated parametric models. Emphasis is given to the plain solution to the problem, i.e., the decision-theoretic viewpoint is adopted instead of maximum likelihood or general ad–hoc procedures. Adoption of true prior probability distributions is advocated in lieu of noninformative or compulsory "opinions".
