Class 1: members of Latin-American cooperating associations (CLEI, SBC, SCCC), program committee members, and invited speakers. Class 2: members of ACM, EATCS, IFIP, IEEE, and authors of accepted papers. Class 3: graduate students. Class 4: all others. For class 3, the registration fee includes only the proceedings and coffee breaks. In the beginning of April the weather in Sao Paulo is usually warm and humid, with average temperature somewhere between 20 and 24 degrees centigrade (68F to 75F). Clothes: light pants and a light shirt should be generally suitable; it might be a good idea to have a pullover (just in case) and a light rain-coat. Our funds for this purpose are very limited; preference will be given to graduate students from Latin-America.
