Vakonomic Mechanics

We are studying a new model to describe motions of a system of N material points exposed to external forces and constraints. This model, called Vakonomics Mechanics , is based in a variational principle (similar to the Principle of Least Action) whose formulation uses a modified concept of variation. It was introduced by V.V. Kozlov and V.I. Arnold. When all constraints are holonomics (integrable) this model gives the same motions as the traditional analytic mechanical model.
