Properties of algebraic supergroups that are controlled by their even parts.
Abstract: Let G be an algebraic supergroup. Denote by G_{ev} its largest even subgroup that is defined by the Hopf superideal K[G]K[G]_1. We discuss which structural properties of G are defined by the same properties of G_{ev}. Among them we consider such as unipotency, solubility and many others.
