RT algebras and integrable quantum theories with defects.
Abstract:
We present an algebraic formalism that allows the construction of
quantum theories on the line with a defect (i.e. the line minus a
point). The associated algebras (the RT algebras) are a generalization
of so-called ZF (Zamolodchikov-Faddeev) algebras that deal with
(integrable) quantum fields in interaction on the line. The RT
algebras also include the reflection algebra (that deals with
integrable systems on the half-line) as a subalgebra. Their Fock space
is contructed.
