Título: What about this translation-based planning?

Resumo: Classical planners have been used for solving more expressive planning
problems in the last years, specially for planning problems with incomplete
information. I'll introduce one of the first idea about translations, and will
comment on the current research, including a recent work we submitted to ECAI
(The European Conference on Artificial Intelligence). The talk will be very 
informal.

Short Bio: Hector Palacios is a visiting professor at Pompeu Fabra University,
UPF, in Barcelona/Spain. He finished his PhD there under supervision of Hector
Geffner in 2009. Before going back to UPF, he worked at his alma mater, Simón
Bolívar University, Caracas/Venezuela, and in Carlos III of Madrid University.
His main research interest is Automated Planning.
