Here you can find some information about me and my work.
My main area of research is Probabilty and Statistics. Specifically, I am interested in statistical inference for stochastic processes, random networks and graphs, high dimensional statistics, change-point detection and statistical learning.
Since 2008 I work at Departamento de Estatística, Instituto de Matemática e Estatística Universidade de São Paulo.
At the moment I coordinate the international cooperation research project "Probabilistic and statistical properties of stochastic processes on graphs and networks", financed by CNPq. I am principal investigator of FAPESP's project "Stochastic modeling of interacting systems" and an associate member of Neuromat - Research, Innovation and Dissemination Center for Neuromathematics, also supported by FAPESP.
I am an elected member of the International Statistical Institute (ISI) and member of Bernoulli Society, Sociedade Brasileira de Matemática and Associação Brasileira de Estatística. I am Associate Editor of the Latin American Journal of Probability and Statistics (ALEA), Brazilian Journal of Probability and Statistcis and Ensaios Matemáticos.
In 2013 I won the L’Oréal-UNESCO-ABC prize “For women in science” in the area of Mathematics.
