I am Carlos Alcantara

I am a first year graduate student at IME-USP (master's program, with FAPESP fellowship), my main interests are algebraic topology, Riemann geometry and differential topology and my supervisor is Claudio Gorodski. I completed my undergraduate at IME-USP (2017), under the supervision of Bárbara C. Valério, where I studied basic aspects of Riemann geometry and characteristic classes.

I spend my free time playing chess or climbing, or trying it. I am poorly-versed in physics, philosophy and literature, but I am very interested in these topics.
