IME-USP Hosts the XIII Workshop on Poisson Geometry and Related Topics

The XIII Workshop on Poisson Geometry and Related Topics will be held at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo (IME-USP), in São Paulo, Brazil, from October 28 to 30, 2026.

The workshop is an annual event organized by the Brazilian Poisson Geometry community and serves as a meeting point for researchers working in Poisson Geometry and related fields. Its main objective is to foster scientific exchange and collaboration among specialists studying a broad range of topics, including Lie theory, gauge theory, foliations, quantization, mathematical physics, homotopy structures, and geometric mechanics.

The 2026 edition will bring together researchers from Brazil and abroad to discuss recent advances and current challenges in these areas. The program is expected to provide opportunities for scientific interaction, the presentation of ongoing research, and the development of new collaborations within the community.

Activities will take place at the Jacy Monteiro Auditorium, located in Block B of IME-USP.

The workshop will also feature a poster session. Participants interested in presenting their work are invited to indicate their intention to present a poster during the registration process.

Further information about the event, registration, and previous editions is available on the workshop’s official website.
