The 16th School of Differential Geometry will be held in July 12-16 2010, at Universidade de São Paulo (University of São Paulo), Brazil. The event is promoted by Instituto Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia de Matemática - INCTMat and coorganized by Universidade de São Paulo, Universidade Estadual de Campinas and Universidade Federal de São Carlos.

The schools of Differential Geometry are traditional events in the Brazilian mathematical panorama, taking place every two years and attracting the interest of many students and researchers in the area from several Latin American countries.

As in its past editions, the program of the school includes the following activities:

•       short courses in topics of intermediate/advanced doctoral level;

•       plenary lectures given by invited speakers;

•       communications;

•       posters section.

The official languages of the school are Portuguese and English. Registration will be open on April 01. Participants may submit communications for a 30 minutes talk or for the posters section (submission will be open on May 01). There will be a special section for young researchers.
