Location
The conference will be held at the Beach Hotel Maresias, located in the city of São Sebastião, on the coast of the state of São Paulo, in Brazil.
Accomodation prices per occupant per night are (according to the current conversion rate) around US$ 160 for single room, US$ 80 for double room and US$ 70 for triple room. All meals (except for conference dinner evening) are included — beverages are extra.
Please note that there is a very limited number of single rooms; once this limit is attained, participants requiring single accomodation will be asked to pay the equivalent to two guests in a double room.

The Brazilian currency is the real (R$) — in
plural, reais. Although international credit cards are widely
accepted in general, it might be convenient to have some cash (in
reais) for small expenses. If you are coming directly to the
conference, it is strongly recommended that currency is exchanged at
the airport, since there will be no other place to do
so in the proximities of the hotel.

No special health precautions are needed, unless you intend to travel
to Amazonia. If you plan a trip to northern or western Brazil,
please check with us regarding recommended vaccinations.

can range from 15°C to 30°C.
