Deformation Problems for Lie Brackets Part 2: Lie algebroids.
Abstract: This is the second of two talks concerning deformation problems for Lie brackets. In it I will discuss formal and analytic aspects of deformation theory for Lie algebroids, their morphisms and their leaves. The results include rigidity of transitive Lie algebroids, stability of morphisms of Lie algebroids, stability of Leaves of Lie algebroids (a result of M. Crainic and R. L. Fernandes), and strong stability of leaves. All of these notions will be defined during the talk. In particular, no previous knowledge about Lie algebroids will be assumed. The talk will be based on joint work with Marius Crainic and Florian Schätz.
