Nilpotent loops.
Abstract:
The nilpotency theory for loops has been first developed by
R.H. Bruck about half a century ago. It turns out, however, that his
definition of nilpotency is not consistent with the non-associative
Lie theory. I will describe the basics of a different theory of
nilpotent loops, which does use Lie theoretic methods, and mention
some open problems.
