Date-Jimbo-Kashiwara-Miwa algebras and associated orthogonal polynomials.
Abstract: We will describe DJKM algebras which were introduced by Date, Jimbo, Kashiwara, and Miwa in their work on the Landau-Lifshitz equations. We will also describe two families of polynomials arising in the study of the universal central extensions of these algebras. Such polynomials are non-classical orthogonal polynomials satisfying certain fourth order linear differential equations.
