Gaudin model.
Abstract:
The algebraic Bethe Ansatz is a physics motivated method
of diagonalizaing appropriate linear operators. We apply this method
to the study of the celebrated Gaudin model. In most cases the Bethe
ansatz either is highly inefficient or does not work. However, the
study of the Bethe Ansatz leads to many stunning connections to many
areas of mathematics
and to a better understanding of the Gaudin model itself.
