On the concept of quantum group.
Abstract: In the talk we are going to discuss the concept of quantum group. We explain in which way there appears the structure of the Hopf algebra on the set of "observable" functions and why instead of the product on the domain there appears the coproduct on the functions. As an example we consider the simplest case of real smooth functions which illustrates the fundamental Kostant-Cartier-Milnor-Moore theorem.
