On Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov's equations.
Abstract: The Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov (KZ) differential equations provide natural constraints on the correlation functions appearing in the setting of affine Kac-Moody algebras. We will review how Wakimoto's realization of affine sl(2) is used in the construction of integral solutions of these equations. If time permits will describe a version of the KZ-equations in the setting of the toroidal vertex operator algebra of Y. Billig. This later work is joint with Eswara Rao.
