Deformation quantization and Morita equivalence.
Abstract: A celebrated result of Kontsevich establishes the existence and classification of star products on any Poisson manifold. This talk will discuss the classification of star products up to Morita equivalence, a notion of equivalence that identifies algebras with equivalent categories of modules. I will explain how Morita equivalence of star products is related to B-field symmetries of Poisson structures at th classical level. This is based on joint work with S. Waldmann and V. Dolgushev.
