Though I have previsously worked with Parallel Processing, Image Processing, and Heuristics, my current interests are in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and the topics listed below.

I am currently working with Part-of-Speech (POS) tagging, and have developed some POS taggers for Portuguese. Also, in collaboration with Maria Clara and Pablo Faria, we created and are activelly maintaining an integrated tool for corpus annotation, called E-Dictor.
