Invited Talk 14 (saturday – 11h00) Our Statistical Work at COPPE and FM/UFRJ: 1970–2010. Basílio Pereira (FM & HUCFF & COPPE – UFRJ). Abstract: In this talk we describe our background and the work we developed at COPPE and FM of UFRJ. Some of our contribution to applied statistics is described, specially those of direct use in State Companies. The contributions to Bayesian statistics is described. Our current interest and results of applications of Statistical Learning in Medicine is presented. |
