| I. If you are going to the hotel "Century Paulista" in São
Paulo on Saturday July 31 or before |
|
- From the International Airport (Guarulhos):
The best thing to do is to take a taxi (they have fixed rate at the
airport) to the hotel. We can also send you a taxi if you tell
us in advance that you need one.
Most participants of the School will stay at the hotel Century Paulista
located at Rua Teixeira Silva, 647 - Paraíso, Phone
(011) 3884-9977, home page: www.centuryflat.com.br.

| II. If you are taking the school bus (July 31) |

- Itinerary from São Paulo (departing at 9:00 am)
USP, Portão 1 (main entrance, located at the end of street Afrânio Peixoto
in the Butantã neighborhood): 9:00 am
Century Paulista Hotel: 9:30 am
International Airport Guarulhos, EMTU office, located outside near the exit. : 10:00 am
São Sebastião: 12:30 am
For those arriving at the local airport (Congonhas)
- Go to EMTU office - It offers a frequent confortable bus line that
goes to the international airport (Guarulhos) where you can meet the bus
of the school going to São Sebastião at EMTU office.
- Alternatively, you can take a taxi (they have fixed rate at the
airport) or common local buses to Century Paulista hotel or to the university's
main entrance. You can get some information to reach the
university on http://www.ime.usp.br/como_chegar.php.
Return Information:
Depart from São Sebastião: Saturday, August 6, 2:00 pm
Arrival at Guarulhos airport: 4:30 pm
Arrival at Century Paulista: 5:00 pm
Arrival at USP: 5:30 pm
- Itinerary from Rio de Janeiro
There will be a bus leaving from IMPA (main entrance door) at 8:00 am.
IMPA is located at street Estrada Dona Castorina which is a
continuation of Pacheco Leão in the Jardim Botanico neighborhood.
Return Information:
Deapart from São Sebastião: 2:00 pm
Arrival at Galeon airport: 9:30 pm
Arrival at IMPA: 10:00 pm

| III. If you are not taking the school bus |
|
Regular bus line São Paulo/São Sebastião from Tietê Bus Terminal (Terminal
Rodoviário Tietê) in São Paulo:
The bus company is called Litorânea, whose home page is

The trip takes about 4 hours. Hours (subject to modifications) :
8h30, 10h30, 13h30, 16h30 and 19h30 every day.
There are direct buses from Guarulhos and Congonhas airports to
Tietê Bus Terminal. From the center of São Paulo, you can also take the
blue subway (metrô) line to Tietê station. |
