Title:

Ginzburg Landau functional with external random field: minimizers and interfaces.

Abstract:

I consider a standard functional in the gradient theory of phase transition consisting of a gradient term with a double well potential. I add to it a random bulk term modeling the interaction with the impurities of the medium. I will present results on the existence of minimizers ( the phases) and of the interfaces. The analysis strongly depends on dimensions and strength of the random field.
